Photo Trouble

I've got to get a new memory SD card for my camera. I haven't needed more than one - I transfer all my photos to my computer every week or so, and then, from time to time, I burn them onto CDs for safe keeping.
Now however, it looks like my memory card has got some sort of memory lapse.
The photos are in there, but they can't be transferred to my PC. Luckily, we're only talking about a few photos, but I have to go shop for a new one before taking any more pics.
Do I know that this is the problem? No, but it's the only solution I can try out on my own... If that doesn't work, the problem is in the camera, and I don't want that...

I have had this problem with new cards before. What I didn't realize is that you need to format a new card before you use it. Not sure why, but it does work.

You can bring a memory card from other person may be your relative and then try it at your Camera. I think then you can understand about your camera. Thanks

I have some opposite problem - while card reader is OK, i have troubles with CDs... I have written ton of my photo stuff on them and now it comes out that there occur some "data loss" as parts of CDs become unreadable:(

I've had problems with not all the photos being deleted off the card when I tell the camera to delete them. I too need a new memory card, and a new camera. :-) Good luck.

Of course memory card should be always checked and unnecessory data should be deleted for the save working. Even I transfer all my photos to my computer every week or so, and then, from time to time, I burn them onto CDs for safe keeping.

Of course memory card ought to be forever verified and needless data must be removed for the save working. Even I transmit all my photographs to my computer every week or so, and then, from time to time, I burn them onto CDs for keeping them safe.

If you need to save your precious pictures, I suggest an external hard drive besides saving it on discs. There are a lot of things that can happen to discs - scratches, breaking, etc...
