Thursday Thirteen # 11
1. Funeral arrangements and funeral - time- and thoughtconsuming...
2. I finally got hold of the last remaining boards, and finished making my terrace:
3. I made a table, too! And a little table and stools for # 5 Brat. (Top pic, left hand side...)
4. We've had the house tarred, and the boys needed to be looked after and fed - I'm glad it's done, I hate having workers around that I feel follow my every move... But it looks great!
5. We've had a plumber around too - sorting out a minor sewage problem.
6. The weather's been lovely these last few days!
7. The kids are finally off school - the last few days were a nightmare of coming and going at various times - they may as well have been let off a week earlier.
8. We've got two new horses - Bianca and Sputnik - the two Fjords on the pics.
9. We've been busy in the garden!
10. I've been on a girls' trip - not a long one, but blogging was not in the picture!
11. We've lost (and found) a dog - our Border Collie bitch, Lass, was suddenly gone without a trace one morning. She's pregnant, so we were doubly worried. Luckily, # 4 brat found her trotting around in the woods... Safe and sound.
12. I've been trotting around in the woods too - looking for mushrooms. I'll be doing more of that as summer progresses - and I guess I'll have to post pics of what I find. I go for the safe varieties, though - no chances taken in that department. I'll also have to find the English names for the ones we favour!
13. Can't think of a # 13 - all the other aspects of Real Life, maybe?...

Oh, I love your woods, your land, your horses, your garden and your newly tarred barn/shed. I've always wanted to live on a place like that. I can't stop looking at your pictures. I also salute you for having 6 kids. Wow! Keep blogging. LOL.

LOL - it's our HOUSE! hehehe. We don't have an outhouse yet, which is why we need a terrace, so we've got a place to BE... The house is full of stuff that I wish we had room for somewhere else. I may have to check out ebay...

Not participating in TT. Love the terrace. Glad your found your dog. I would have been beside myself. You have a lovely home and I love the idea of living out in the country. It would be so nice to have some room. Have a great day. :)
Wow! Everything looks beautiful! This is the amazing part of being in the country. Now if there were no "biting critters" I would be very content! ;)
